Is a marriage legal if the father of the groom is the preacher?

a ceremonial marriage is legal as long as the proper license is obtained and the person performing the ceremony is authorized under alabama law to perform the service. the parties have to also be capable i.e. have the capacity to marry under the law. please call me if you have any further questions at 205-879-9595
