Re: Child Custody

as long as there is no court order giving the grandmother any kind custodial rights and no court order denying the mother any custody rights and no court order giving any other person any sort of custodial rights then in that event, if there are no court orders regarding custody, then the natural mother has the right to custody of the child. however you cannot breach the peace in retreaving the child from the grandmother. it probably would be best to consult an attorney or at least take a police officer with you to make sure that the peace is not broken. you must avoid violence and tresspass at all costs and there must not be any court action pending or any custody orders in effect. the best avenue in your situation is to consult an attorney first.
