Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

I am currently going through a divorce in alabama, my question is. Once i get the final judgement of divorce, is it possible to go out of state to remarry before the 60 day appeal period if that state does not have any restrictions? Also, i have a legal separation prior to the divorce, is there any way to waive the 60 day appeal period? I am also in the military if that matters at all.

It depends on where you get married, I believe. If you are getting married in a common law state, and marry in contravention of the court's order, you would be married at the expiration of the 60 IF the state in which you were married allowed such. You would have to check the statute. This depends on the laws of the state in which you are going to be married. In any event, you would be in violation of the Alabama order, which is not smart. There is no way to waive the 60 day period, it is statutory. Your membership in the military should not matter, but may depending on additional facts.
