You would need to provide more details about the situation for anyone to be able to tell you the odds of winning custody of the child. The court is going to look at factors such as what is in the best interests of the child, whether there has been a material change in circumstances since the time the last custody order was entered, and whether changing custody would be too disruptive to the child. The mother's focus on money, in and of itself, is not likely to be grounds for changing custody. You are going to need to be able to demonstrate problems in her home life or in the way she takes care of the child.

Our office handles child custody cases, and we would be glad to discuss the situation with you in more depth. If you would like to consult with us about the case, please give me a call or send me a private email.

Good luck to you.
