Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

If my ex settled out of court and I got custody of my 3 children and she doesn't pay child support (according to the settlement July 2010)....under what circumstances or time limit can I take her to court to try to get child support. In the last 2 months my household income has decrease $50000 yearly

You can ask the court to modify if her circumstances have changed. If she has a job or the reason she did not pay no longer makes any sense to the court. I need more information to provide a complete answer.
