Liability on Indian Reservations

Is an Insurance company sheltered from liability claims on Indian land. Would claimants have same right to sue for slip and fall in Indian Casino as any other location in US.

An Indian reservation is not technically part of the US. It is a sovereign nation and no, you cannot sue them in US courts for a slip and fall. They and the insurance company is fully protected from any responsibilities for injuries. Think about that next time the Governor wants to have a deal with the tribes without making them assume responsibility for the injuries caused by their negligence. It is a rip off of the injured consumer and US citizen.
