Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Alabama

Porn Pictures considered Sexual Harassment at work place?

A co-worker and I found porn sites on our computers. My boss gave me his computer when my laptop crashed and there was an icon on their ''Sexy Girls'' that linked to an internet site. I looked on my computer (his old one)at the temporary internet files and there was a list of porn sites on there. The temp. internet files list the time of day it was opened and it was opened during office hours. My co-worker went on vaction and came back to her computer filled with porn sites. I called a radio station to voice my opinion on this subject, and was told this is a form of sexual harassment, because he is looking at it during office hours. It is a small office and it is just us two females and my male boss. Is this sexual harassment?

I would have to discuss the case more specifically with you. These types of cases are extremely difficult, and a lot would depend on the knowledge of your supervisor. Did he know you had access to his computer or was it his personal system? If it is something you found, I don't know that there would be any liability. Did he ever make any comments regarding the pictures? Please give me a call if you have any further questions (205) 254-3927.
