Legal Question in Family Law in Alaska

How long does a Judge have to set a court date or make a ruling on a Motion to Modify Custody/Motion to Modify Child Support. If said date isn't met what happens to the case.

The judge doesn't set the court date automatically. If you want a hearing you submit a hearing request.

Or, it the motion can be made without testimony, the judge may rule on the motion at any time after the time in which the opposing party has to file an opposition, and the moving party has to file a reply.
