Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Alaska

I currenlty am on a lease with a roommate. Both our names are on the lease but we are not getting along so we both agree on me moving out and finding a replacement for my spot. The landlord has verbally agreed to having someone take my spot but will not take my name of the lease. Is there any way i can have my old roommate and the new roommate sign a contract saying im not liable for anything with the apartment after the date i move out?

Yes, they could agree to hold you harmless from any liability to the landlord, if that's what you are suggesting.
