Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

I am in Mesa, az. I was pulled over and cops found 4 packaged up baggies of methamphetamine under my seat. The total weight of the drugs was approximately 4 grams. I have never been in any kind of legal trouble in all my life. I am 43 yr old female with 2 children still living in my care. My son is 13 and my daughter is 11 weeks. What can happen to me and what is probable to happen to me?

Methamphetamine is considered a Dangerous Drug in Arizona. Possession of Methamphetamine is a class 4 felony punishable with probation or up to over 3 years in prison if you have no prior felony convictions. The County Attorney has certain policies regarding possession of methamphetamine when it comes to plea agreements. There are often numerous areas of defense when you have been charged with this crime. In order to find you guilty the State must prove that you knowingly possessed the substance and it was a usable quantity in a usable condition.
