Can an individual in Arizona present themselves using an assumed name in business? Example: John Doe is running ABC LLC and is presenting himself as John Smith in business transactions.

A person can use any name they want, so long as in doing so they are not committing fraud on the people they are dealing with and doing business. It is not illegal on its face.
