Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arizona

Someone owes me money for work that I did for him. We had an oral agreement. He has paid about half of what he owes. The last time he paid was one year ago. Does the statue of limitations for AZ start from the last time he paid or from the time the original work was performed?

For breach of agreements it runs from the date of the last payment.
