Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Probation violation

My boyfriend went to jail for a traffic violation, They wont release him because there is a hold on him from another county. I called a couple of lawyerrs and one took his information. he called me backand said he could not find a probation violation. Just a failure to appear. Should I trust him? Or should I ask another lawyer. I haven't been able to talk to my boyfriend since he was arrested. Since I only have a cell phone. So I don't know whats going on on that side. I wrote him a letter asking for details of what probation violation he had. Is there anyway I can look it up myself? His boss is willing to pay for a lawyer I just don't want to get one whos not on top pf things.

Re: Probation violation

An attorney should be able to contact the jail and ascertain information reagarding any holds on an inmate, including the name of the jursidiction that placed the hold.
