Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Arizona

Can an entertainment company be sued by limiting the age of people that they hire? I submitted to work as a princess for an entertainment company. I have the experience they need and skills and look very good for the part. The reason I was given that they would not hire me was because they decided not to hire anyone over the age of 24. Nothing to do with my appearance or skill level was in the reason. Isn't that age discrimination?

It can be sued but it is unlikely you will recover. First, it is unlikely there is a contract between you obligating them to hire you if certain conditions are met. Second, it is likely a private company that can 'discriminate' unlike the government. Third, Arizona is an 'at will' state favoring employers over employees.
