Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

getting custody

My step son's mother has full custody. She just married someone with a criminal record that continues to grow. She got evicted. We found weapons in my son's suitcase when he visited us. My husband wants to go for custody because we feel our son's welfare is at risk. We are a military family and need the fastest, best way of accomplishing this.

Re: getting custody

You can attempt to move to modify custody and parenting time asserting the circumstances. Obviously it's not as easy as just filing. The court will require a hearing and evidence will have to be presented to show why the child is at risk and why the child should reside with you. PLease let me know if there is anything I can do to assist.
