Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Support / Visitation

My ex husband has remarried and now has another child. Our divorce papers state that we share expenses for health insurance, travel for his visitation and medical bills. He has not paid these and always claims that the check is in the mail. We have since moved out of IL (he still lives there) and we live in AZ. What are my options in getting him to pay what he is suppose to pay? I know that withholding visitation is illegal, but am I required to pay for tickets to make sure that he gets his alloted visitation?

Re: Support / Visitation

If you don't have modified orders in writing, you probably should do so. If you agreed to travel then you should pay. Just demand an offset for what he has not paid. You are right. YOu cannot withhold visitation for his failure to pay.
