Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
visitation of child
I moved out of my apartment on 3/11/01 that I shared with my girlfriend of 3 and a half years. Her and myself had a daughter on 7/10/99. She has been still legally married to another man for unknown amount years prior to us. she has two otherboys of 5yrs and 6yrs of age from that marriage. The reason I left the realationship was due to her not coming home after work for hours or not at all. she was entering a realationship with another man. I found out and left. The day I left, she moved him into the apartment that night. She refuses to let me see my daughter till I pay half of the bills from 3/11/01 date, dispite the fact that it was agreed that I was homemaker and she was wage earner. The apt has now gone into evecition notice, court on 3/29/01, she told me on 3/27/01. what can I do?

Re: visitation of child
You should QUICKLY file for custody/access and support. The longer you wait, the less likely it is to get significant changes. I would expect that the Court may be concerned that she moved the guy in ONE DAY LATER. This may not have necessarily been in the child's best interests.
Also, it is certainly inapproproiate for her to deny you reasonable access over financial matters.
