Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona
Can son in law sposer us
My husband two daughters and I have been in the US for 8 years now and are over stays. My eldest daughter got married 3 years ago to an US citizenand is currently in the process of adjusting her status. We are aware that when our married daughter gets citizenship (in five years time)she will be able to sponserher parents. My first question is can her husband, the us citizen, sponsor us so as we do not have to wait the five years and secondly what are the chances of the 'Dream act'coming into fruition for our youngest daughter who will be 21 years of age in one years time before she 'ages out'. If there are any other options for us we would be grateful for suggestions.

Re: Can son in law sposer us
Your son-in-law cannot sponsor you directly as you are not an immediate relative of his. Your daughter is able to sponsor you as an immediate relative once she obtains her citizenship. This means that you will not be subject to the quota system.
