Legal Question in Employment Law in Arizona

can an employer terminate employment because an employee is charged with a crime,misdemeanor, and the employer states that it is policy but unable to show you that particular policy.

Also If placed on suspension untill the charge is dismissed in court can the employer refuse to give back the job to the employee that was suspended?

Thank you for the message. Unless you have a written contract for a specific period of time or that says they cannot terminate you except for cause, they can terminate you for any reason, including a reason related to a criminal charge.
