If I quit my commission only job does my employer have to pay me for the jobs that are in the system?

Generally,it depends on what the terms and conditions of payment are between you and your employer.

Usually,the employer has to pay if you can prove that you have dedicated a substantial effort of work that resulted in the final consummation of the jobs that are in the system.

However,I suggest you make a detailed list of all jobs you consummated or substantially worked to near completion detailing all your efforts or you may get nothing for your efforts.

I then suggest you submit a formal letter demanding payment on those deals with a detailed itemization of each deal that a commission might be owed to you.
