Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona

What are our rights as far as the a/c going out numerous times and the landlord not doing anything about it, except once he sent repair men and all they did was put a little freon in? It went out, again, 36 hours later. They came about 15 hours later, after a rough night without a/c.( I stays in the low 100's until about 2am, before it cools off.) They did nothing. I have been trying to get them to come again, but to no avail. Maintainance manager keeps telling me to call when the a/c goes out again, and he will have someone come right away. I have done that a few times. I even went into the office and spoke to the maintainance manager face to face. I talked to him politely and he said the same thing. Just to call when it goes out again and don't turn it off. When I leave it on, it blows hot air from outside. It gets extremely hot in here. We live in Arizona, and it has been in the mid to upper 110's. We have three kids and it is very hard on them physically. We have no money to get a hotel. Plus we have pets. We should not have to worry about these things, for we pay our rent every month for over 10 years now. What do we need to do? This has been ongoing for over 3 weeks. Can't handle the heat.

The landlord may as well be trying to evict you without cause. You may be able to bing more pressure on the landlord by suing him or her. This would be much easier to explain on the telephone.
