Legal Question in Military Law in Arizona

Question on discharge upgrade

Hi, I was enlisted in the Army (active duty) and I was given a under other than honorable discharge. I was told that it was going to be a general discharge but I have found out that it is not, and that is closer to bad conduct. I went Awol but turned myself in and I was given this type of discharge. I was also pregnant at the time but I although I thought so I was wasn't for sure. I was having a lot of difficulties with my Sgt. as they were wanting to sent me off to the field often and I didn't feel good. I am now considering requesting a review of my discharge. My question is, what do you think my possibilites are of being able to change my discharge?

Re: Question on discharge upgrade

If you've been discharged within the past 15 years and it was not the result of a punitive discharge imposed by a courts-martial, you can apply for a discharge upgrade with the Army's Discharge Review Board. You will need to gather evidence on your behalf and submit DD Form 293. Without full knowledge of the circumstances surrounding your discharge, I cannot guess what your chances are for an upgrade.

I recommend you have someone represent you to help.
