insurance pay-off

Fell on commercial property-sidewalk. Insurance co. said company not liable, but policy will pay up to $10,000.00 toward medical bills. If you get check, do you have to give it to your medical insurance company, as they paid your medical bills or do you get to keep it?

Nearly all policies require that you repay the medical benefits you have received if you recover from a 3rd party [the property owner's insurance company]. They must pay their fair share of any costs associated with the 3rd party recovery.
