Legal Question in Product Liability in Arizona

advertised tire caused damage and expense to resolve

Metzler tire manufacture sells a tire they say will fit my version of a Harley motorcycle. Well, a few weeks later it turned out that the tire they said would fit my version in fact rubs the bike which is an unsafe condition on a motorcycle, seeing as you only have two wheels,,, The expense to cure the rub (uhaul truck to bring bike to repair facility) is in the hundreds. Meztler denies the claim. Harley says the tire metzelr sells will NOT fit the bike I have, even though the metzler website says it will in fact fit. Do I have a case to recoup my expenses in small claims court at the local level?

Re: advertised tire caused damage and expense to resolve

If Metzler did in fact make promises to you that the tire would fit, then this would give rise to a claim for their representations to you. Submit your claim in writing to Metzler along with any written representations made by Metzler.
