Joint tenacy deed
We had an agreement that was signed and notarized but never recorded when we bought our property. The sellers signed a joint tenacy deed for our property in 2/1997 putting the land in our name. Recently we found out that the seller put a lien on our property in 8/2007 and are threatening to sue us. Is this legal?
