You have to evict him, and follow the legal procedure required to do so. You should retain an attorney who specializes in landlord/tenant actions. If you try to do it yourself, you would be foolish, the attorney will not cost you more than the problems you will create by trying to do it yourself. You are the owner of the property and your belongings, you will preserve both by getting the eviction done properly.
