Timeshare property

How can I legally get rid of my half of a timeshare property if the other party doesn't want to buy it?

Re: Timeshare property

Your remedy is to file a partition action in the court. Unfortunately the cost of that may exceed the resale price of a time share.

You do not say who the other party is. Try to come up with a settlement, such as each using it every other year. You can rent out your time to another if you do not want to use it, but must continue to pay the annual fees.

Re: Timeshare property

The answer to your question depends on the state where the time-share property is located and on the documents that created the time-share. I suggest that you have a lawyer, in the state wher the property is located, take a look at the documents.
