Legal Question in Workers Comp in Arizona

If you have an on the job injury and you decide to quit your job does the company and/or workman comp insurance carrier have to continue with your treatment until the doctor releases you to regular duty?

Yes. Your rights under the Workers' Compensation Act are completely independent of your employment status. In fact, technically an injured worker can receive benefits under a claim for his/her entire life.Your medical treatment should be provided to you on the same basis as if you were paying cash for it...and you should insist that your doctor do so. Also, medical treatment often continues after a release to regular duty.
