Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Arkansas

i will need to go to a hospital that i filed bankruptcy on; is this possible

i am in need of a surgurical procedure that may need to be done at a hospital where i had to file bankruptcy on; most of my bankruptcy was involving medical expenses; however, if this is my only choice for a hospital what do i do?

Short answer -- Attempt to go to the hospital and see what happens.

Bankruptcy law allows individuals who are facing financial distress to have their debts legally eliminated. However, although your hospital debts were legally eliminated (bankruptcy term is called "discharged") you can still decide on your own to repay certain debts. If I was in your situation I would seek medical attention from the hospital you mentioned. Perhaps the billing department will not realize you have discharged your prior hospital bills. If this issue does come up you could work out a payment arrangement to pay for your prior bills and your new medical bills. I hope you are successful in this. ph. (800) 303-0720
