Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arkansas
My boyfriend that i have lived with for 7 years passed away last week with no will. He has one son and $170,000 in medical bills. He had a house in his name that i can prove that i have put $30,000 in upkeep and renovations. Is there anyway i can keep the house? We live in Arkansas.

You have no legal claim to the house, but you can file a claim against the estate for monies expended on the house.
