what is a widow entiled to when there is no will

The general answer is that, if the deceased had no children, the widow gets it all. If the deceased had children, the widow gets one-third of all his personal property, including money, and a one-third life estate of his real property.

This is assuming they have been married for a period of time. There are other rather rare circumstances that could change this answer some.
