Termination after on-job injury?

Yes, I was hurt on the job. The insurance company spent alot of time letting me wait for medical care, which in my case my work told me that I was terminated because of being gone longer than the one year alotted time.I underwent two spine surgeries in that time frame and am still trying to heal. Is that fair?

With the serious injuries you suffered, you would be well served by obtaining repesentation. You already have had experience which indicates that the insurance company is acting contrary your best interest.
