If an attorney forges a document to overturn a judgement and get a better deal for client, then later gets elected the DA...do i dare speak of the forgery?

If you have clear cut, convincing evidence, you should go to the State Bar to get their opinion. Do not mention names as you may be wrong and hurt the reputation of someone who is innocent. It is best if you run the matter past someone who is neutral, as most such claims turn out to be incorrect. If it does not take a large amount of time, I would be willing to listen to at least an outline of the complaint to see if yo do have something that should be followed up. As to whether you could be harmed by reporting the information to the State Bar, there probably is no damage until you mention actual names or make it clear whom you are speaking of.
