Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

there was a conference management appearence in court and none of the defendents show up so now my attorney filled a notice of ruling what does this mean

The court normally asks the prevailing party to prepare a written Order based upon what the judge stated verbally.

Having a party or attorney who was present notify the absentees saves the court the time and expense of notifying the parties. At a Case Management Conference, there usually isn't a prevailing party. The ruling might include a date for another CMC, an order to show cause why the non-appearing parties should not be sanctioned (fined), an order to mediation or judicial arbitration, or even an order setting a trial date.

this is a document informing the other parties of the court's ruling and future court dates which may have been set.
