Petition for Writ of Certiorari
It seems that most cases presented to the U.S Supreme Court are quickly distributed for conference and cert denied.
If a case is distributed for a conference date to be held months later, could this indicate it just might be worthy of a little harder review by the court to determine certworthiness?

Yes, but such a delay could also indicate many other things. Don't read too much into the fact that the process is taking a little longer than usual.
