Teen shoplift

What is a typical sentence for 1st time Teen shoplift a T-Shirt.

My daughter for some reason, did a very bad things. she put a t-shirt in the bag, and try to walk away from the store and the store caught her, called the police and cited her (she is 15), but they put my wife ID's/information, cause my Daughter doesn't have ID at that time.

what is our defense/appeal for liniency?

This is not really an appeal/ writs question. An appeal is when you do not like the result you get at trial, and after trial you appeal the decision of the judge. There are some other things that are appealable.

Your question should be reposted to the juvenile/ criminal areas. That is a special area that involves other attorneys than the ones who received this message.
