Legal Question in Banking Law in California

I work for the NFL had my payroll checks (3) of them at 8,000 a piece they got papers needed by the nfl to release my money the first check has been pending for s week then another check was direct deposited a week and a half ago and that one is not being released either I have not received any notice why snd keep going to the bank. Going to the bank today again
