Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

registered owner rights

my father is the legal owner and I am the registered owner of a mobile home just purchased for $19,000. I am in debt with credit cards approx. $30,000.If I just stop pauing on the credit cards will they take the mobile home away from me?Or force me to sell if I am the registered owner?

Your mobile home is safe. The question is who paid for it. If you did than you are the "equitable" owner and it would be protectable under one of 2 different exemption systems.
