Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Reinstating a license

I was involved in a car accident and had a judgement against me. My drivers license was suspended for unsatisfactory payments. I recently filed for bankruptcy and filed the judgement on it. Do I have to wait till its discharged to get my license back, or can I get it back now? I have been to the 341 meeting, but its continued. I would be very greatful for any info. Thank You, Sarah

Yes, you have to wait to the discharge. Make sure you have obtained insurance. In the interim, you might be able to get a restricted license to go to and from work.
