Legal Question in Business Law in California

My company has recently given the people I work with raises but not me. My job is more complex and takes more time but the manager said I have to show more to get a raise. The manager is also having an affair with one of my coworkers who received the highest raise and his best friend is the one who also got a raise. Does this have any legal action that I should take?

Law presumes you're at will, so will I. Therefore you have no right to a raise so its tough luck.
