Legal Question in Technology Law in California

Promotion of sites depicting nude minors on the net

You may be aware of the existence of pay web sites containing nudity of minors, such as http://www.little-virgins.com and http://www.ukr-nymphets.com (there are many others). The owners claim they are legal and even have an affiliate program for other webmasters to make money promoting them. What are the legal risks for a webmaster that enrolls in this program and starts promoting them from his/her site, assuming no nudity is on the webmaster's site, just links to the above sites using non-nude banners.

There is always a risk of getting caught in a prosecutor's net, even if you are an innocent. You are increasing this risk if you actually aid conduct you know to be illegal. Are you willing to accept someone's assertion that their conduct is legal? Will this person indemnify you if they get caught, or will they turn you in as an accomplice?

There are thousands of legitimate ways to make money in the internet. Why would you even consider helping these idiots promote these sites?

If you do, I hope you are prosecuted. If you have to ask the question, I am sure you don't believe their "Legal Info" either.
