unfaithful GF cought on audio in her car

Is it unlawful to audio tape my girlfriends car? This is purely for health reasons. I dont want to catch any VD's. Can I confront her on her infedelity using the audio? Or should I just keep Quite and move on?

What you did was almost certainly illegal. That you had a reason to do what you did has no bearing on whether the law permitted you to do it.

Whether to confront your girlfriend about this is a personal question and not a legal one, so this site is not the right place to turn for guidance.
