Distrubuting flyers about an accused child molester

A couple of my female relatives have come forth and confessed they were sexually abouse my one of our uncles. With out any evidence the authorities have not been able to charge him. He moved to a new neighboorhood and we feel the responsibility to let them know an accused child molester just moved to their neighboorhood. Is it legal to distribut flyers with his name and picture?

You could be accused of slandering him, although truth is a defense. Have the women file criminal charges, and/or file civil suit against him, if timely, and do this properly, legally.
