Exposure alone may be insufficient for a successful legal action; I would think you'd also have to show actual injury or a high probability of future injury (illness). However, you should consult with a law firm with asbestos experience. I don't know of any in Southern California, but I'm sure you can find one.......in Northern California, specifically in Marin County where I have my office, the largest and best-known asbestos litigation firm is Brayton Purcell LLP. Also, if your exposure occurred during employment, you may have a workers' comp. claim.
