Remodeled bathroom has leak and Contractor will not return calls

My remodeled showered produced a leak just months after finish. I have exchanged messages with the contractor but now he does not return the calls at all and I fear he is trying to get out of returning to repair and redo his work. What can I do next ?

The contractor has posted a $10,000.00 ($12,500.00) bond with the contractor's board; the bond is for the benefit of people in your position. Write a demand letter to contractor with a copy to his bonding company (You can get the name and address of the bonding company from the Contracotr's License board or from its web site. If the Contractor does not perform, hire a licensed contractor to make repairs and file a claim against the bond.
