Bank refusing auto loan which was previously approved in writting

I had been approved for an auto loan on May 28,2003 in writing. Than on June 11, 2003 I was denied the auto loan becuase my fiance's income is on commissioin. I want to know if the bank can legally deny a loan after giving the customer the approval?

from the facts given, you may have an actionable claim for breach of contract, but i would need to know more about the actual "approval contract" and if there were any conditions therein allowing or disallowing them to continue qualifying you for the loan even after receipt of your approval letter. if you would further assistance in this legal matter, feel free to email me more specifics directly.
