Deposition Subpoena for Production of Business Records

I was served with a 'Deposition Subpoena for Production of Business Records' by my credit card company. What information are they requesting from me and for what purposes? The subpoena provides no specifics as to what information they need and why.

Re: Deposition Subpoena for Production of Business Records

A deposition subpoena for business records is used in litigation to obtain documents from people and businesses who are NOT parties to the litigation. If you received a deposition subpoena for production of business records, make sure it is directed to you, and not some third party.

If the subpoena is directed to you, and there is no specification of what documents they seek, telephone the attorney who issued the subpoena (their name, address and telephone number should appear at the top and the bottom of the form) and tell them you did not receive a description of the documents they seek.
