Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Civil Dispute with Car payments

The car loan, insurance and registration are all under my name. In a written agreement, I sold the car, stating at the end of al payments, the titles will be transfered. However, she refuses to pay. Do I have legal right to have the car towed, or to take a key and drive the car away, and back into my possession?

I'm not sure. What does your written agreement say about repossession? Typically, repo people cannot repo a car unless they FIRST notify the local police department BEFORE repo. Did you have the right to transfer the vehicle without the permission of the lienholder (bank)? I'd have to do some research before I could give a more definitive answer.
