Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Our customer purchese a BMW with a salvage title. We fixed it. He give us for repair a check The amount is $3950.00. We found out it isn't enough money on his account, his check is bad.

What is our legal right to get our money from him?

You can sue him to get your money. However first I would try calling him and give him a chance to make his check good. If he doesn�t return your calls send him a letter. You can also report him to your local district attorney for writing you a bad check and they may be able to collect it for you.
