Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

if i have a judgment against me for medical bills, that a collection agency was assigned to handle for the hospital. they didnt purchase the debt,to my understanding, can the payment of this judgment be concidered medical expenses that i would be able to deduct off my tax returns, as long as the expenses are over a certain percentage amount of my total income. i guess what im asking is, are these still medical expenses, even tho it is now a judgment.

The portion of the judgment that is actual bills remains deductible no matter how it is enforced. Any other fees, costs or interest added to the debt on top of the original bill would not be deductible.
